The Mr. Ribbly
The Mr. Ribbly turtleneck is made by hand, using natures woolly gifts. Because wool is a natural resource and because the Knitter.'s jumpers are made by hand, there will be the odd imperfection, due to natures ways. But this isn't a bad thing. Generally speaking, nothing in life is perfect.
the Knitter. offers a made to order service, as her garments are not made in bulk. Hand knitting is a much slower process compared to machine knitting, so there is an approximate order completion time of eight weeks, sometimes earlier, it just depends.
The Mr. Ribbly turtleneck should not be washed, but if needed, wash by hand, and left to dry in a cool spot in the shade. Warm water may slightly shrink your garment, so it is best to stick to cool water. Never tumble dry. It is also best to keep your jumper folded and not on a hanger. This way your jumper will keep its shape. the Knitter. recommends keeping washing to an absolute minimum and only if really necessary.
Wool has a tendency to pill, it is not a defect, but rather a natural result of friction. Carefully cut the pills off with a pair of scissors, or use a razor blade to shave your garment, that's what we do.
The Mr. Ribbly is made to one size and is available in two different colours options; orange sheep or navy sheep.
